Who governs Legazpi

The mayor, the vice mayor, the Sangguniang Panlungsod and all 70 barangays. Every name carries the record it came from, and every seat we cannot yet source says so.

How to read this page.

The 2025 national and local election results are still published as partial and unofficial by the outlets that counted them, even at 100 percent of precincts reporting. We label each name accordingly and will replace these with COMELEC’s official canvass when it is available. Nothing here is our own estimate.

This list is incomplete, and we would rather say so. These are the 8 highest-polling councillor candidates from a count its publisher still labels partial and unofficial. We have not confirmed how many seats the Sangguniang Panlungsod has, so we are not filling the rest from guesswork. The ex-officio members, the Liga ng mga Barangay president and the SK federation president, are also not yet sourced.

Where the barangay names will come from

Nine officials per barangay, one punong barangay, seven kagawad and one SK chairperson, is about 630 people for Legazpi alone and roughly 31,000 across Bicol’s 3,471 barangays. That is a records job with three sources, in this order.

COMELEC canvass, 2025 BSKE

The Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections produce an official per-barangay result. That is the primary record for punong barangay, the seven kagawad and the SK chairperson.

DILG barangay officials directory

DILG maintains a standing directory that survives between elections and catches appointments and successions the election result never shows.

The barangay hall itself

Every barangay posts its officials on a board at the hall. For the ones the national records miss, that board is the source, photographed and dated.

Every source on this page

Know who holds office in your barangay?

A photo of the officials board at your barangay hall, dated, is enough to fill a row. Seventy rows and Legazpi is done.
