A short page, because we collect very little. No accounts, no advertising, no tracking scripts. The parts worth reading are about the reports you send us and the public records we republish.
You cannot register on this site and there is nothing to log into. Every page is public and reading one requires nothing from you.
There are no advertising networks, no analytics pixels and no social tracking scripts embedded in these pages. Nobody is paying us to follow you around.
A community report or a project report is meant to go on the public record with its photo and date. Your name is optional and reports are published without it by default. Do not put personal details in the description.
A photo from a phone can contain GPS coordinates and a timestamp. For a report about a location that is usually the point. If it is not, strip the metadata before you send it.
Like any website, the server records requests: IP address, time, page and browser. This is ordinary web server operation, used for keeping the site running and nothing else.
We link to government sites, PHIVOLCS, PSA, DPWH and others. Once you follow one you are on their site under their policy, and several of the government sites we link to do not have working HTTPS, which we have written about.
