Citizen reporting

Report a problem with a project

This is for a specific DPWH contract: a project that is not where it says it is, was never built, or fell apart within a year. For a broken streetlight, a hanging wire or anything else in your barangay, use the community report form instead.

Bring the contract ID

Every project in the dataset has a contract ID, a short code like 23CN0127. Search for the project on Bisto Proyekto, copy the contract ID, and include it. A report with a contract ID is a record. A report without one is an anecdote, and it is much harder to do anything with.

Source · DPWH Infrastructure Transparency dataset via the BetterGov.ph API. Pulled 17 August 2026. Bisto Proyekto runs the live filterable table on the same data.

What to report

Six things worth telling us

Pick the one that fits. If none of them do, the last one is not a filler category, it is a real option.

The project is not there

The contract says completed. You have walked the location and there is nothing built. This is the report that matters most and the hardest one to make stick, so bring the contract ID and a photo with the location visible.

It was built somewhere else

The work exists but not where the contract says. Common with drainage and road segments described by station number rather than barangay.

It is falling apart already

Completed within the last few years and already cracked, collapsed, silted or washed out. Note the completion date from the contract.

It was never finished

Marked completed but the work stops halfway. Photograph where it stops.

The flooding did not stop

A flood control project was built and the same street still floods. This is not necessarily a failure of the contract, but it is worth recording, and if a drainage outfall was never connected, that is.

Something else

The dataset has 17,200 rows and we did not anticipate every way a contract can go wrong. Tell us in your own words.

What happens to your report. It goes on the public record against that contract ID, with the photo and the date. We do not forward reports to DPWH on your behalf and we do not promise a response from anyone. What we can do is make sure the report sits next to the contract permanently, so the next person who looks up that project sees it.
